Kamloops to Banff, Canada

We were on board the train bright and early....7:30 am.
We passed by a picturesque lake,
ski resorts,
ski resorts,
waterfalls...
lots of snow capped mountains,
dried up river beds and....
snow piles along the way.
The train had to stop a couple of times because freight trains were coming the opposite direction of our travels. This detained us so we were late coming into Banff.
One nice thing about this was that they gave us dinner while waiting.
We finally arrived in Banff around 7:30pm. Just enough time to take a little walk about town before dark.
