Great Journeys Northern Explorer Train

 Auckland to Wellington March 20, 2025

We left Hotel Waterloo in Auckland around 7:00 am to meet our 7:45 southbound train.

Breakfast...Chia seed pudding. Yum!

We passed through many farms.

Before we knew it, it was lunch time.

We arrived in Wellington around 7:00pm. 

What a fantastic day! After touring the perimeter of New Zealand for two weeks, it was really neat to travel through the interior of the country on the train.

After quick bite of dinner, we were ready to get some shut eye.

Tomorrow would be a ferry and a train ride...I could hardly wait.
