Noumea, New Caledonia

 Noumea, New Caledonia  April 2, 2025

We had planned to rent a scooter, but were told we couldn't take it out of the city. Going out in the countryside was not recommended due to unrest.

So we looked around the cultural arts center and.....

walked along the waterfront.

The temperatures were really hot, but

 what a gorgeous walk!

Two marinas....one for motorboats.

                  and another for sailboats.

When we got to the second marina, we decided to take the Hop On Bus for a half an hour ride around the city.

It was so enjoyable that we took the trip around again.

It was interesting to see an America flag in the park.

After a little bit of shopping  in the local

air conditioned store....mostly for relief...we returned to the ship with BIG smiles from another great day.
