Cadiz, Spain March 30, 2023
Friends from the ship
Spring is busting loose from winters' hold.
A unique roost
Cadiz has some lovely architecture.
Cadiz Cathedral
Entrance to the Cathedral....we can hardly believe that it is open today. Larry and I have been here three times to find it closed.
Our view climbing the stairs to the bell tower
OMG....Kim and I were on the top of the bell tower when it rang 12 noon!
New and old
In the courtyard, a lady was making huge bubbles. What a coincidence...the ship had a Bubbles Show the night before.
Church of Apostle Santiago
Cadiz Market
The seafood market was phenomenal!
What yummy looking confections!
The guys enjoyed their eye candy.
We all enjoyed the narrow streets.
A blend of old and refurbished
The architecture is so interesting.
One store front had a Lego representation of Cadiz Cathedral.
We enjoyed lunch in a park, fragrant with oranges and and flowers in bloom.
We enjoyed watching the parrots in the trees.
Larry and Jay were window shopping in a music store. The stores were shut down for afternoon siesta.
What an unusual door knob!
I enjoyed spotting the quaint balconies of apartments.
The streetside cafes were inviting.
Larry enjoyed this side street act.... a guitar/harmonica player.
What elaborate designs around a window!
Inviting and well kept courtyards throughout Cadiz.
Elaborate doors
Parish of Lady of the Rosary
An interesting depiction of the Last Supper
Can you believe the size of this tree?
Even after having been to Cadiz several times, we always manage to explore and discover something new. Larry and I have always enjoyed Cadiz and feel sure that this will not be our last visit.
