Barbados

 Bridgetown, Barbados     March 15, 2023

Larry and I left the ship early Wednesday morning and headed to the city center.

We walked a path with right along the sea.

We walked the city docks deeper into Bridgetown past the marina in search of the bus station.

Luckily we found it and jumped on board. 

Larry enjoyed this sign.

 The local market.

We passed numerous houses of all shapes and sizes.

We passed lots of sugar cane fields....

and banana groves.

We arrived in Bathsheba on the eastern side of the island.

There was a lot of natural beauty.

We returned back to Bridgetown happy to have seen another part of the island.

We walked through the center of town that was bustling with folks....

passing the stately Parliament Building built in 1871.

We arrived back at the ship in time for dinner.

We enjoyed a scenic sunset as the ship sailed out of the harbor.
