Wow! Grand Turk has clear, clean turquoise water!
Grand Turk is a British Territory.
The island is only one mile wide and seven miles long.
No scooters, but there are a few golf carts for $125.00
daily rental.
Donkeys roam freely on Grand Turk!
Island time is taken pretty seriously here in Turks. While the rest of the world rushes, we have learned to take the scenic route.
So when someone tells you they will "SOON REACH"
they could be just around the corner or just setting sail in route to Grand Turk.
Be ready for a tale when they finally get there.
'Buddy, where are you?'
' I just down da road.
I Soon Reach.'
This the name of this native beer.
We had lots of fun at the beach.
A wonderful pool area was available for folks who were not sand lovers.
The Carnival Mardi Gras ship was in port. Our MSC POESIA looks like a baby ship next to it.
The water was crystal clear. We spotted fish from the dock.
My man brought me to Grand Turk....our first visit.
I think Grand Turk became my favorite Caribbean Island.....clear waters and clean beach. Also free beach chairs.
I hated to say good bye to this area.
