Bay of Islands, New Zealand

Bay of Islands, Feb 25, 2025

We tendered into Waitangi and boarded a bus to go to the town of Paihia, all apart of the Bay of Islands.

Waitangi is a very historical  town because the Maori signed a treaty with the British
making  the country open for settlement.

. Larry and I walked around the town just enjoying a New Zealand perfect day. Not much had changed since the last time we were here in 2016.

Jay and Kim took the ferry to Russell, another quaint town on the Bay of Islands.

Larry and I walked about the town finding a new area of shops and restaurants.

The booths were set up with area crafts. The area was buzzing with the ship's sightseers.

This area is great for spotting water wildlife.

We returned to the tender with many memories of a beautiful day in New Zealand. What comes next? Australia
