Timaru's claim to fame is its huge playground, the largest in New Zealand. In fact this award winning playground is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. The surrounding park amenities include a paddling pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, bike polo, skate park, and a bike skills park.
It looked exciting to us adults so you can imagine how little kids felt about it.
