Larry and I went with Chad and Kathy to the Reno Airport. Leaving Lake Tahoe at 4:00am, Chad and Kathy had a 7 am flight to Las Vegas. Larry and I flew out of Reno at 12:30 arriving in LA at 2:00. It was funny that Kathy and Chad arrived at Reagan National the same time that we arrived at our hotel in Long Beach, California.
We had some spectacular views of Lake Tahoe from the plane.
The Rocky Mountains were fabulously snow covered. We were escaping a tremendous snow storm that was forecasted in the upcoming days.
We passed over the Pacific Ocean viewing a gorgeous stretch of beach.
We arrived at a historical Lumea Boutique Hotel that had just gone through renovations. We had a lovely restful sleep after dinner. We enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning before heading to the Island Princess docked in Long Beach.
