Cabo San Lucas

Monday, February 4, 2019   Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
What a gorgeous day…. high 75 and not a cloud in the sky.
The ship was anchored off shore so we tendered into the port.  We had a great seat on top of the tender boat...

so we got to observe the extremely busy harbor.
                                                                Now that's my kinda yacht!

We had decided to make our way out to see the stone formations that Cabo is so famous for. Larry hired a boat taxi to take us out to the rocks.

Our driver, Senor Ventovos, was a retired fisherman.

He showed us some nice spots and pointed out some special rock formations….a goat, a skull, a pig,
the window to the Pacific, and Lover’s Beach.
Being out in the water at high noon, the sea magically changed with the sunlight from the beautiful deep sea blue to a gorgeous sea green.

We were fortunate to capture pictures of Cabo’s famous Land’s End Arch. What a spectacular natural wonder!

We enjoyed watching a colony of sea lions,
the Mexican turkeys…pelicans,

and the colorful tropical fish that swam to the sides of our glass bottom boat.

Upon returning to the mainland we did a little street walking and chatting with the locals. Larry loves to practice his Spanish whenever he can.

We enjoyed a couple of cervezas with a little lunch. The evening ended with an under the stars movie, “Mission Impossible, Fallout” with Tom Cruise. The action and chase scenes kept our heavy lids wide open till almost midnight. What a memorable day for our first time in Cabo San Lucas.

Adios to the gorgeous Cabo San Lucas!
