Fort Lauderedale, Florida

Fort Lauderdale, Florida                         April 26- May 2, 2017

So long to the Holland America Amsterdam.....
                                   What a fabulous ship!

Fort Lauderdale is a gorgeous place to get your  body clock back on USA time. Our body clocks were  forwarded 13 hours in Taiwan. The hours have been added and subtracted many times throughout our adventure.

We stayed at the Tides one block from the inland waterway and  two blocks from the beach.

Fort Lauderdale has.....

                                                    Lots of condos.....

Bountiful Bougainvillea

King Sized Critters scampering on the sidewalks

                                                                   Coconuts

Fabulous  Palm Trees

                                                            Nice Narrow Beaches,

and a cool water taxi that took us down the inland waterway.

Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of the South with its 165 miles of waterways and 220 bridges.

We passed lots of tremendous waterfront mansions, and

and some tremendous yachts....This one is Ron Howard's yacht called Imagine....COOL!

The evening ride on the water provided some pretty spectacular lights.

Just a few miles down the road from our condo was....

President Trump's Home and our friend Zach Davis.

We had a good visit with dinner on the veranda one evening.
                                                   Larry, Rico and Zack
We had a great time in Fort Lauderdale....the last stopping point of our 2017 adventure before returning  home to Clearwater Beach.
