Sunday and Monday, March 9 and 10, 2014 Two days at Sea
The temperatures have started to turn downward as we approach the Southern Atlantic Ocean...between 60 and 70's. If you find a place in the sun and guarded from the wind, it is quite enjoyable.
Highlights of the past two days consist of an Oriental Lunch in the Caribe Cafe, walking the deck completely around the ship(the front of the ship was not blocked off due to high winds),
John Maxtone-Graham gave two fascinating talks about Arctic and Antartica Explorers,
Julio Delgado spoke about our visit to Falkland Islands and Cape Horn. Jeffrey Wolff spoke about whales and turtle life in the ocean. We watched a thriller called "Prisoners", a drama called "50/50" about a cancer survivor, and a sci-fi called "Now You See Them" about magicians with Woody Harrelson.
We also went to see the Captain's Champagne Waterfall. I completed making a DVD about the Caribbean Islands that we visited. These two days went by way too quickly.
